It's a girly thing…

Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow Bone

I love my Stila Palette for it has a great warm-nude lid color. But I wanted something lighter that would work as a highlight for brow bone and also brighten my eyes as well, without actually adding any color. After looking for such a shade at Mac, Inglot and at Sephora, I finally found Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow Bone.

Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow- Bone

Bone along with Bobbi Brown’s famous Gel Eyeliner is what I bought after getting a makeover at Bobbi Brown Launch Event.

Bone, simply put is an off-white color. On lighter skin tones this would be a great nude color, but for medium skin tones like mine, this works great as a lighter all over lid color and as a highlight. I love the way this brightens up my eye. I use this on the lid, with a darker color in my crease and a liner for a perfect and simple day look.

Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow Bone

Price – Rs. 1390

It’s not the most pigmented¬†eyeshadow, and needs to be built up. Though this lasts a good number of hours with or without an eyeshadow primer. The texture of the eyeshadow is smooth and silky. ¬†It’s very finely milled, not powdery and blends amazingly. But a major disappointment is that the eyeshadow has major fall off. After I dip my brush in the shadow and tap my brush to remove the excess, there’s a big cloud of ivory powder in the air!

I looked for a similar color for a while before buying this and even though it’s expensive I’m quite happy with it. For the price, I feel you get a good sized pan of eyeshadow and it’ll last me a while. When it gets over, I will not re-purchase only if I can find a cheaper dupe for this.

If you like neutral and natural makeup looks, definitely check this color out. I love it, and maybe you would too :) Do tell me what you think.. Buy or Skip?

Love, Jas :)

i will skip this because i prefer buying palette and 1350 for single eye shadow sounds pricey to me and this is not the shade which you cant find in palettes! nice review!

I agree with you.. But compared to a 1.5 gm Mac eyeshadow costing 900 bucks, BB eyeshadow of 2.5 gms doesn’t feel that expensive :D
