One of the picks from my recent visit to Sephora was Burt’s Bees Lip Balm with Pink Grapefruit. I had to pick it for it’s cute packing and also I was looking for a new lip balm because of my really dry lips these days.

This is a colorless lip balm that has a heavy sweet citrus smell. If you like The Body Shop’s pink grapefruit range, you would like it. I personally find it very overpowering.

Ingredients – As you can read below, it has a lot of natural ingredients. The product claims to be 100% Natural. No Parabens too.

Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Aroma (Flavor)*, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Lanolin, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Seed Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Tocopherol, Ammonium Glycyrrhizate, Canola Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Limonene. *Natural Flavor

Moisturizing – Once you apply it, you feel this as moisturizing for the lips. But this doesn’t improve or heal chapped lips, no matter how much lip balm you use. It doesn’t condition the dry bits of skin on lips. You have to keep using it to keep the lips moist. But it definitely keeps lips moist longer than many other balms I have tried.

Greasy – This balm is not greasy or sticky.

Packaging – This balm has regular twist-up tube packaging, which I find much more hygienic and easy to use. I don’t enjoy using lip balms that come in tubs which I have to stick my finger into.  I find the yellow and pink colored tube cute too J

SPF – Got none.

Price – I personally find the lip balm to be on the pricier side at Rs. 400.  It comes in a 4.25 gm packing.

I find this to be an ok lip balm. Pretty sure I won’t be finishing or buying this again.

Love, Jas 🙂
