My skin loves the everyday pampering that the Forest Essentials lotions and products give it. And the love for this brand made me check out Forest Essentials Facial Tonic Mist Pure Rose Water. So what is the product and what does it do?

Forest Essentials Tonic Mist

The skin requires a gentle boost after cleansing to rehydrate and tone it and prepare it for your nourishing routine. Our pure and active water-based toners are made from floral, fruit and herbal extracts, captured and crystallized at the height of potency, essential to the Ayurvedic philosophy; to hydrate, tone and revive the skin.Rose has cooling, soothing and moisturizing properties. It is naturally hydrating. Its seductive floral scent, promotes a feeling of well being and harmony. Fresh Roses are steam distilled for the essential oil and the hydrating rose water residue is used for the facial tonic mist.

Facial mists are a great product to have and travel with, for their instant cooling and refreshening properties. Keep them in your bag for those hot summer days when your skin needs a little extra boost. But Pure Rose Water Facial Mist does something extra, it hydrates as well! I spray this on when my skin feels dehydrated, like after after cleansing or in evening after a day’s work. I even spray some over makeup if I feel some dryness and it soothes out skin magically, without affecting the makeup.

On the other hand, you expect a Toning facial mist to tone your skin. And just to be clear, by toning I mean that it should have some sort of capabilities to shrink the appearance of pores, which sadly I don’t think Forest Essentials Facial Tonic Mist has. By no means does this replace my actual toner!

But then, why should I buy Forest Essentials Rose Water Mist over some other pocket friendly rose water brands? Well mainly because it’s free of any chemicals and artificial fragrances. There maybe some other chemical free brands too, but I checked out Dabur Rose Water that I had been using for a while and it has Parabens and some other stuff too and Khadi Rose Water bottle doesn’t have any ingredients mentioned(at least the new bottle I have), so doubtful about that.

If you are looking for a refreshing and hydrating facial mist, I totally recommend it! I bought it, tried it, loved it and not moving on from this. It’s a great product to have especially in these harsh Indian summers.

Have you tried any this or any other facial mists that you like a lot? Would love to know… Love, Jas 🙂
