Forest Essentials Intensive Eye Cream with Anise
I read sometime back that you should use a separate under eye cream if the skin around your eyes is different than the rest of your face and I suffer from dark circles, lines and dehydrated skin around my eyes. So I decided to buy a good eye cream and bought Forest Essentials Intensive Eye Cream with Anise.
The brand says:
A light yet deeply intensive cream for the delicate area around the eyes. Its extracts include Anise which reduces fine lines, moisturizers and tones the skin in Ayurvedic texts, and includes pure vitamin A and E extracts which assist in the elimination of fine lines and free radicals while firming and toning the under-eye area.
I use a wee bit of cream on and under the eyes. When I say wee bit, I literally mean wee bit! The cream is so smooth and feather light, that a little amount is all that is needed. The Eye Cream does what it claims. My under eyes look and feel much hydrated and firm and have noticed reduction in the fine lines as well.
The cream doesn’t claim to reduce dark circles, but if your dark circles look worse because of fine lines and dehydration like mine, then I would say even dark circles look less prominent.
I use a little amount of product on and under eyes twice a day with my fingertips and dab it lightly till it gets completely absorbed. I do this before applying my face cream.
Packaging looks sophisticated but I do fear I will break the glass jar. The cream is priced at Rs. 895 and comes in a 15 gms packing. My sister and I have been using this everyday for over a month now and this would still last us another 2-3 weeks easily.
I feel the product is amazing and would recommend it to everyone for its toning and hydrating properties.
Love, Jas
