My search for a good under eye cream led me to Kiehl’s. I tried a sample for Kiehl’s Line Reducing Eye Brightening Concentrate and just 2-3 days of using it made my under eye area looked brighter. So ofcourse, I got the actual product.
Price – Rs. 2300 for 15ml
Ingredients: Propylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Ascorbic Acid, Glycerin, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Water, Lauroyl Lysine, Acrylates Copolymer, Escin, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Adenosine, Citrus Amara (Bitter Orange) Flower Extract, Chlorhexidine Digluconate, Hydroxysuccinimide, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Chrysin, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7
Rich yet light weight formula that feels runny on application. It spreads and absorbs easily. It’s not really hydrating, but feels nourishing.
It has high concentration of 10.5% pure Vitamin C in the form of L-Ascorbic Acid which has anti aging properties. Haloxyl is an effective ingredient to reduce dark circles and it also moisturizes sensitive skin. Contains no Parabens.
A really tiny amount of cream is required for both eyes. I use this twice a day, and the tube feels full even after a month.
There’s a reaction of the formula (Vitamin C maybe) when it comes in contact with the skin. When I started using it, I felt heat from the cream which lasts for a few seconds.
Kiehl’s has basic packaging which is cool since the quality of the product is great and good if it helps keep the price low.
Does it work?
I have noticed that my under eye area has become brighter and smoother. It’s not hydrating or moisturizing, but it definitely tightens the under eye area and reduces fine lines. My main concern is dark circles which it does not really help with. But I have come to realize that no cream can actually make the dark circles disappear and I think I will probably make my peace with it!
I will definitely buy this again as this has been most effective eye cream till now! Love, Jas 🙂
