My first Mac eyeshadow was Fig1 and I had loved the color, quality, ease of using it and everything else. So even though I didn’t buy any more Mac eyeshadows for a while, I knew I would like others too.

I bought few Mac eyeshadows together a while back, which I feel are great colors to have! There were some more colors I wanted, but I already had their dupes, so I skipped those.

In my experience, most of the Mac eyeshadows are pigmented and it’s better to start with less color and build up the intensity. A lot of these work even better when used wet, specially the frosty and veluxe pearl finishes. These are easy to use and blend well.

With primer, the eyeshadows last 8+ hours on me, out of which 6+ is without any creasing . But without primer, these last about 4 hours on me before creasing and then slowly disappearing in a few more hours.

A single eyeshadow pot costs Rs. 950 and pan refill costs Rs. 750. The eyeshadows are almost a dent in the pocket, and so buying a few special colors is a good idea to start with.

Sushi Flower is a soft warm pink in satin finish that I feel would be a great color for a soft Valentine’s Day makeup. 😉 It looks good as an all over lid or a transition color and looks great with browns, purples and beige colors.

Freshwater is a medium blue with a veluxe pearl finish. I love blues and this bright and bold color adds a pop of color to any look. It’s not a color that I reach for often though.

Steamy is a frosty greenish-blue color. It’s very bright and shimmery and looks beautiful on, but again, is kind of the few rarely used colors I have.

I had used Freshwater and Steamy in the Blue Smokey Eye I did for the Bridal makeup. You can check it  Here.

I’m really caught up with work these days, and even though I have 2 video tutorials to upload, I just haven’t been able to do so. Hopefully I’ll upload it by this weekend. I also have more Mac and lots of Inglot eyeshadows to review and swatch, which I got in last few months. I’ll try to put up those up soon too 🙂

Like any of these colors? Do tell me about it.. Love, Jas 🙂

I love colors.. You should try Sushi Pink, it looks quiet neutral. Don’t have Patina, but totally dig Woodwinked.
Will try to be more regular with video tuts 🙂
