If I have to list down some of the must have Mac eyeshadows, specially for Indian skin, I’d write down these 3 for sure. Mac Eyeshadows – Woodwinked, Amber Lights, Club

Woodwinked – A Veluxe Pearl finish that looks brown/bronze in the pan, but  applies a bronzy golden nude color, specially on Indian skintones. On lighter skin tone it looks warm bronze and on darker tones it looks more gold. It’s not really “in your face” and is works well, even for day wear. I usually use this, liner and mascara and I’m out of the door. Deepen the crease color and it’s great for night as well.

Amber Lights – A warm-toned coppery gold in frost finish. This is a shimmery color that stands out during the day and looks amazing for night with reddish browns and black. I wear it on the lid, inner corners, on the lower lashine.

Club – This multidimensional satin eyeshadow looks green, grey, reddish brown.. Phew!! You need to see and try it to appreciate it. It works amazingly well with greens, reds, teal, black and what not. It’s a great color for smokey eye. To get it’s best effect to come out, you have to use it wet!

My issue with this is that it doesnt come out on brush easily. Have to build it up majorly! I have seen club dupes that look amazing and I might try them out next time.

Woodwinked and Amberlights are highly pigmented and all 3 are so easy to blend. Their texture is creamy smooth and there’s not been any major fallout issues with these.

With primer, the eyeshadows last 8+ hours on me, out of which 6+ is without any creasing . But without primer, these last about 3.5-4 hours on me before creasing and then slowly disappearing in a few more hours.

A single eyeshadow pot costs Rs. 950 and pan refill costs Rs. 750.

What is your best eyeshadow combination to wear with these colors? Would love to hear your suggestions… Love, Jas 🙂
