Mac Pro Conceal and Correct Palette
I was getting late for lunch with a friend, so running around the mall yesterday, I decided to try my luck at MAC store and asked them if the Mac Pro Conceal and Correct Palette was launched yet. 2 mins later they brought out the palette to officially launch them. And then I spent another 30 mins in the store trying it on (first one to try it
) and finally came home with mine :)
The concealers are a different shade then the ones we are used to. These are new shades and definitely looked lighter. Me being a NC 35-37, tried Medium palette first and then tried Medium Deep. A mixture of Burnt Coral corrector, which worked beautifully to negate the darkness of the under eye and 2 other colors did a great job of covering my DARK circles.
Medium Deep NC40, NW40, NC42, NW43, Rich Yellow, Burnt Coral
The palettes are a PRO product for professional makeup artists, but these are great for personal use. There are different colors in the palette and one can create a perfect match combining them or even using them individually. I feel Medium Deep is a palette that would work for most of the Indian skin tones. The Burnt Coral and Rich Yellow correctors would work well on negating green/blue dark circles, redness from blemishes and discolorations as well.
Price: At Rs. 2600, the palette is expensive, but can be value for money for the convenience it brings.
The palette has 4 Studio Finish Concealers and 2 Correctors. They have a creamy consistency and are easily blendable and suitable for all skin types. I have already used it twice or thrice and on a friend as well, and I feel this works well with a flat concealer brush and finger tips. They wear best when they are set with some powder. The palette is light weight and sturdy and is a great fit for travel bags.
What do you think of the palette? Would you buy it?.. Love, Jas
