NYX Champagne and Caviar Eyeshadow Palette

I keep looking for neutral eyeshadows. On an everyday basis, I wear neutral eyeshadows with colored eyeliners or hint of color on the crease. If you are into neutral eye shadow shades like I am, you should totally buy NYX Champagne and Caviar eyeshadow palette.

NYX palette size in ref to phone

NYX Champagne and Caviar palette from the Runway Collection is a beautiful collection of neutral satiny and matte browns. There are 10 colors in the palette which are all you need for a simple everyday or a dramatic look. I find this palette very feminine, natural and wearable. At first I was very disappointed with this palette since these are more cool toned neutrals, and it can be difficult to work these on warm Indian skin. But now, after a while of using this, I find myself reaching for this palette more than any other.

Obviously, NYX Champagne and Caviar palette is not for you if are looking for some nice bright colors. The color swatches n description:

1. Shimmery gold champagne. Great for lid and overall highlight color
2. Satin light taupe
3. Satin beige brown
4. Frosty champagne. Identical to 1. More cool toned
5. Shimmery taupe
6. Matte white. Least used color for me
7. Shimmer medium golden taupe
8. Matte ashy dark brown.
9. Shimmer champagne pink. Texture and color is similar to 5, with more silver toned.
10. Matte grey black. Great color to wear as liner

The palette is perfect for travel. It’s small, sleek and has a great big mirror and good companion when you can’t or don’t want to carry alot of makeup.

The colors in the palette are pigmented and easy to blend. I use the frosty champagne color for my overall highlighting very often and it easily blends on the face. I am also really happy with the staying power of the colors, with or without primer.

Now the one major problem I have with this palette is the chalkiness or powdery texture of few of the colors. You dip your brush and the whole color block seem to fly away. Another issue is the similarity of some of the colors. The light champagne, the light pink and the champagne brown color are too identical.

Priced at $10, you can find this for about Rs. 800 on Indian online shopping sites. This is complete money’s worth palette. Issues or not, I would buy this again and also recommend it to everyone.

So you like this?.. Love, Jas :)

A makeup look using this is coming up soon..

Oh this is lovely! I’ve been contemplating picking up the UD Naked palette but this has a lot of similar shades, and from what I hear NYX’s eyeshadows are pretty good… this might be a nice (and much more affordable) semi-dupe! Thanks for posting. :D

Yes definitely! Can’t manage colored eyeshadows at all… just don’t suit me, plus I’m at office most of the time so they’re really not the most appropriate! This is great, will have to nab it then. ;)

Hi Sonia. I buy nyx from Cherryculture and always had good experience. It also ends up cheaper many times. There are also multiple Indian sites like healthkart or urbantouch or medplusbeauty you can try.
