Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter – Tutti Frutti
I feel I’ve joined the party late. A party where everyone’s talking about the Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter and I’m like Revlon whaaaat? But then listening to what people had to say about it, made me want to try it too…..
Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters are buttery balms with shiny color to it. If you have not already tried these, then let me tell what you are missing:
- The Lip Butters are somewhere in between a lipstick and a tinted lip balm. These are great for Fall-Winters, when you want color on your lips, but lipstick feels too much. If you want less color, put on 1 coat, and just layer it up, if you want more pigmentation.
- Lip butters are not like sticky balms; these are hydrating and make lips smoother and softer. The color doesn’t disappear within a minute, like most of the tinted lip balms I have tried.
- There are 15 colors to choose from, ranging from nude to pink to plum. Some of the colors have better color payoff and others are more tinted lip balms. Try before you buy.
- These come in a translucent tube with quilted pattern, the top of the cap is transparent and the cap color matches the lipstick which I find to be really cute and easy.
Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter – Tutti Frutti is a glossy orange color and is sheerer than few other lip butters. I was scared that it would look too orange on my lips, but the natural color of my lips dials down the color and makes it a nice coral orange. The butter can easily be layered on to get more color out of it. This is actually a lovely color that brightens up the face and is a great way to wear orange. The color is creamy and very moisturizing, and lasts about two hours on me.
*Updated:
Also bought Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter – Cherry Tart, which is a easy to wear cool toned berry red. It is more on the sheer side, but is easily buildable for a more opaque coverage.
Because of the finish and the fact that it is actually very moisturizing, I can’t get enough of this, especially in this weather. You can get these in market for Rs. 600.
Have you used any? Which color would you pick.. Love, Jas
