Last month The Body Shop launched a new BB Cream as part of their Tea Tree range. I didn’t put up an update on the launch, but I have been using this Tea Tree BB Cream everyday since the launch and am here with it’s review.

This BB Cream is specially great for oily skin as it provides a non-greasy finish. My skin type is quite normal with oily T-Zone and this cream kept my face and T-Zone shine free for hours!! It’s been hot, humid and rainy in Delhi (BTW, what’s up with this weird weather in Delhi in September?!!), but this stayed put! Perfect for summer!!

It has a very lightweight formula with consistency being close to runny. You gotta be careful while squeezing the product, because a lot comes out in one go!!

A thin layer of product provides a natural-looking, light coverage. I have dark circles under my eyes which I need to cover separately, but it covers a little bit of uneven skin tone I have!

Price  – Rs. 1095 for 40 ml of product. It is actually good quantity of product and with a runny consistency not much product is needed for each application.

Following are my complaints about the cream –

The packaging – Way too much product comes out when you squeeze the tube. The packaging should be consistent with the formula.

SPF  – With this being perfect for summers, SPF would be more beneficial.

Color – Kudos to The Body Shop for creating 3 shades in light, medium and dark! Dark is actually dark and not just a darker light color. However, I feel the shades have a slightly pink toned instead of yellow tone. Also, I was matched with shade 02, but I find it is a tiny bit dark for me and looks a little unnatural. But since I am enjoying using it, I make it work.

You can check out the cream on The Body Shop website Here

Would you try this out? Or if you have, how’s your experience been?.. Love, Jas 🙂

No SPF is an issue but there aren’t really any mattifying bb creams in the market, so I feel it’s surely worth for someone with an oily skin 🙂
