This last week I had been sick and had high fever. I just wanted to visit Sephora, but I couldn’t even get up from my bed. So last weekend as soon as I felt a little better, I got up and ran off (ok, didn’t run!!) to Sephora in Saket, Delhi. OMG!!! The store is huuuuuuuge. Anybody who loves makeup is going to feel greedy and confused.
I felt like a kid in a candy land and wanted to buy everything. I suddenly needed (not wanted!!) things I didn’t even know existed. They have many brands there including of course their own. I had mentioned these in the previous post on Sephora.
I only picked up few items for now and will be making another visit soon. It was too confusing there, especially with the store being insanely crowded then.
Soap and Glory – Skin Softening Body Wash – Rs. 390
Burt’s Bees Lip Balm, with Pink Grapefruit – Rs. 400
Forrest Essentials Night Treatment Cream – Sandalwood and Saffron – Rs. 1275
Forrest Essentials Intensive Eye Cream – Rs. 895
Now I see few issues with Sephora. Firstly, I’m not too happy with the mark-ups on the prices for some. Some of the stuff would be cheaper if you pick them from abroad. And secondly, the store definitely needs more staff. Shoppers had a tough time looking for SAs and were asking the only few SAs around everywhere.
Sephora India is an awesome place for makeup lovers to be in. I can’t wait for MUFE to come here as well.
*Updated. I got some mails and searches for makeup brands available in Sephora. So here’s a detailed list : Make Up For Ever, Stila, Benefit, NYX, Oscar Blandi, Burt’s Bees , Soap and Glory, Bliss, Boscia, Peter Thomas Roth, The Face Shop, Alterna Hair Care, Ouidad, Dior, Estee Lauder, Clinique, Clarins, Shiseido, Forest Essentials and their own Sephora brand products. They also have a big collection of international fragrances. I might still be missing some brands in this list.
You been there ? How was your experience?.. Love, Jas 🙂
